SLS and SLES, synthetic detergent found in many soaps, can be incredibly drying: they strip the skin of its natural oil barrier and allow moisture to escape. Our Sulphate-free products, contain milder cleansing properties and are able to keep moisture locked in. Natural soaps also contain glycerine, a by-product of the soap-making process, which attracts moisture, keeping skin soft, smooth, and hydrated.
Shea Butter provides deep nourishment, hydration, and addresses various skin concerns, such as blemishes, wrinkles, and irritation. Cocoa Butter locks in moisture, delivers essential minerals and Vitamin E.
Jojoba Seed Oil mimics the skin's natural oils to deeply hydrate, balance, and rejuvenate Coconut Oil deeply moisturises, as well as having antioxidant and antimicrobial properties Sweet Almond Oil promotes deep hydration and maintains skin elasticity Rosehip Oil has regenerative qualities making skin more even textured.
Typically found in synthetic fragrances, phthalates are also linked to hormone and endocrine disruption. Our fragrances are 100% naturally derived from plant sources, and we never use synthetics.
Parabens are the most widely used preservatives in personal care products — they can enter your body through your skin and mimic the human hormone oestrogen, interfering with the hormone balance of your body, no matter your sex. As such, none of our products contain parabens.
Derived from crude oil, petrochemicals and mineral oils are believed to be the greatest contaminant in the human body — potentially making up 1.8 grams per person. These ingredients are occlusive, meaning they block the skin’s natural respiration process by coating pores in a non-breathable seal.
