The Opportunity
This is your chance to play a defining role in shaping Commune’s creative operations. Working closely with our Creative Director & Co-founder, you will operationalise the brand’s creative vision—streamlining workflows, coordinating teams, and ensuring that every project, from packaging design to content creation, runs smoothly and delivers beautiful, meaningful results.
This is more than a project management role—it’s a chance to build processes that support Commune’s growth, both nationally and internationally.
What You’ll Do
Creative Project Management
- Plan, schedule, and track all creative projects, including packaging, content creation, 3D design, and post-production.
- Remove roadblocks and maintain an agile workflow that adapts to shifting priorities.
- Ensure timely delivery without compromising creative integrity.
Team & Resource Coordination
- Guide internal creative teams (writers, designers, editors, industrial designers) to deliver their best work.
- Collaborate with product production on a cohesive joint calendar.
- Onboard new creatives and manage freelancer relationships, scaling teams as needed.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with printers, packaging manufacturers, 3D printers, CNC cutters, and furniture builders.
- Coordinate with retailers and hospitality partners to ensure consistent brand representation.
- Work closely with our PR agency, providing all necessary assets for effective campaigns.
Content & Shoot Production
- Oversee and produce small-scale content shoots in Somerset with local image-makers and talent.
- Manage and liaise with external production partners twice a year for our larger campaign shoots.
Process & Platform Optimization
- Organize and streamline our shared Google Drive.
- Champion Slack usage and continuously optimize team workflows.
- Research and implement tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Social Media Support
- Schedule social media posts, ensuring assets are prepared well in advance.
- Collaborate with content strategists, contributing insights while maintaining operational excellence.
Who You Are
- A natural connector with exceptional communication skills and a passion for bringing teams together.
- A highly organised individual who can manage multiple project timelines and shifting priorities.
- Experienced in creative project management, with in-depth knowledge of the contemporary media landscape—ideally within an agile creative agency or top-tier internal team.
- Possess impeccable taste and a personal interest in luxury lifestyle brands, including designer fashion, personal care, fine fragrance, travel, interior design, and architecture.
- Deeply committed to sustainability, nature, and responsible living.
- A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with operational precision.
- Well-connected, with a strong UK-based freelance network to assemble agile teams when required.
- Open to relocating to Somerset during the workweek to embrace the Commune way of life.
