Used to give hair products a silky, shiny finish, silicones cover the hair strands with a thin, water-proof coating that resists water and humidity. However, this also means the hair can’t absorb moisture, which ultimately means overtime the silicone will build up, weigh hair down, and cause dryness. All of our products are silicone free.
Our Sulphate-free products, (SLS and SLES), contain milder cleansing properties, than those containing sulphates, and are able to keep moisture locked in. Natural soaps also contain glycerine, a by-product of the soap-making process, which attracts moisture, keeping skin soft, smooth, and hydrated.
Our fragrances are 100% naturally derived from plant sources, and we never use synthetics. This is both an environmental choice and health choice as phthalates are typically found in synthetic fragrances, a type of chemical linked to hormone and endocrine disruption.
None of our products contain Parabens. They are the most widely used preservatives in personal care products — they can enter your body through your skin and mimic the human hormone oestrogen, interfering with the hormone balance of your body, no matter your sex.
